Spring always brings fresh starts and new beginnings. Spring 2022 is definitely going to live up to this! So many great things happening, both in the Cardano ecosystem and with Cardax DEX.

Let’s dive into what’s going on with Cardax.
General Cardano Ecosystem Update.
Last week we saw the release of the latest version of Cardano’s full node wallet; Daedalus v4.9. The update included some big enhancements, including:
- Use interface improvements throughout.
- Enhanced synchronisation time.
- Memory use reduction.
- More information provided of what is going on under the hood (especially during synchronisation).

Launch Date Clarification
After last week’s update, there was a little confusion in the community in regards to our launch dates. In order to clear this up, here are the significant dates:
- 28/03/22. Tweag to start the Audit. 3-5 weeks for completion.
- 12/04/22. Public testnet launch.
- 16/05/22. Full public mainnet Cardax DEX launch.

Cardax Tech Update
With only 3 weeks until the audit starts, it’s been all hands to the pumps at Cardax HQ. Both front and back end teams have been working furiously to get everything ready.
I can tell you that things are progressing very well. We now have an internal testnet up and running.
A large proportion of our development team’s time has been working on finalising the implementation of our streaming merge algorithm.
Streaming merge is our solution to the concurrency quandary. Read more about it here.
But what about the front end?
Worry not! our front end developers have been finalising the UI of the web app on our website and adding some super cool features to the homepage that will really help you get the most out of Cardax DEX!
