General Cardano Ecosystem Update.
The Cardano ecosystem continues to grow exponentially, whether it’s measured by the total value locked (TVL) in DeFi projects or the sheer volume of projects building on the blockchain.
According to Tim Harrison (Marketing and Communications Director at IOG), as of March 11th, there are now 517 projects in various stages of being deployed on the Cardano blockchain!
For those of us invested in the ecosystem (either financially or emotionally!), seeing news like this, is justification in our convictions, don’t you think?
Ok, now it’s time to focus on our own little slice of the Cardano ecosystem; the Cardax DEX.

Cardax Podcast
The third episode of the Cardax Podcast is now available on our YouTube channel.

Launch Date Clarification
After last week’s update, there was a little confusion in the community in regards to our launch dates. In order to clear this up, here are the significant dates:
- 28/03/22. Tweag to start the Audit. 3-5 weeks for completion.
- 12/04/22. Public testnet launch.
- 16/05/22. Full public mainnet Cardax DEX launch.

Cardax Tech Update
In the past week, we have completed the first and nearly the second of our smart contracts in Plutarch.
You can read more about it here.
As we prepare for the start of our audit, the lion-share of our work is being focused on the onchain elements to the DEX build (e.g. the smart contracts).
However, we continue to make advances in other areas:
Improvements and additions have been made to the functionality and the UI of the DEX web app. All of which will make your use of our DEX a smooth, speedy and enjoyable one!
