Good Morning loyal Cardaxians,
We have very important news this week, stick with us.
Let’s dive straight in.
Cardax News.
After an internal meeting at Cardax HQ, we have decided that now is not the best time to launch the CardaxDEX. This decision was not taken lightly but we feel that the long-term future of the DEX will be best served by waiting until the market conditions improve.
We WILL still be developing the DEX and are hiring developers (more on this later).
We looked at the exchanges that have been successful across the crypto industry and those that have become industry standards (e.g. Binance) all launched when the market entered a bull run.
There are also lots of exchanges, many with groundbreaking features, that didn’t make it and have vanished. The majority of these were launched in market conditions similar to what we are experiencing now.
We have also had issues in the past with DEX development being delayed, we originally planned to work with external teams to help us get to market quicker. This hasn’t gone to plan.
So what now…
We are not going away, the DEX will continue to be developed in the background. The postponement will allow us to bring you the feature-packed DEX that we promised you (and that we desperately want).

Token Holders
So, what does news this mean for current holders of the CDX token?
We will be listing the CDX token on centralised exchanges.
We aim to create a market for the token while we continue to build. We have modelled this on the way IOG built a community and a market for ADA while they continued to build the Cardano blockchain.

Our Focus Moving Forward
- Continue to build the most reliable DEX on Cardano
- Increase the size of our internal development team so we can react quicker and build the best DEX possible.
- List the CDX token on centralised exchanges.
- Build awareness of the CardaxDEX both within the Cardano ecosystem and in the greater crypto world.
