What an exciting and busy week we’ve had at Cardax HQ!
No time to waste folks, let’s dive straight in.
Cardax News.
This week we crossed some major milestones, it feels like the end is in sight and we are really hitting our stride, feeling the energy in our legs and powering forward!

Audits
We received our first report from our external auditors, Tweag last week and we are pleased to announce that there have been no major issues found so far.
Tweag had 5 things they wanted clarification on, all of which were questions of understanding, rather than problems (remember we are the first DEX to be built completely in Plutarch). All 5 were addressed and closed.
We will have our next meeting with them on Monday 25th (today if you are reading this the day it was sent out).
Again, we will keep you updated on all audit progress.
White Paper v2.
Version 2 of our white paper has now been finished and we aim to publish it for you all this week, keep an eye on our Discord and social channels so you can read it as soon as possible.
It is very clear what version 1 of the CardaxDEX will contain and how it will work. It should answer most of, if not all of the questions you may have.
Marketing
Our first two-week-long marketing campaign has come to a close. The goal of which was “brand awareness”. We placed banner ads on a large number of websites both in crypto and for a wider audience.
We wanted to get our brand name and logo in front of a new audience and it was hugely successful, with over 3 million people seeing the banners. This is just the first step in our marketing campaign.
The second phase starts this week, this time it will be directing users to our lottery/quiz. If this is as successful as the first phase (which we are in no doubt that it will be), we will have started opening the door to a vast amount of new users, both to CardaxDEX and the Cardano ecosystem as a whole.

The first part consists of performing a few different tasks, for which you gain multiple entries. The second part is a quiz based on things you can find out on our website.
The reason for this two-stage process is to enhance the gamification and learning potential of the competition. Our goal, as always is to provide learning opportunities (as well as a kick-ass DEX of course!)

Learn Cardano Podcast.
Yesterday (Sunday) we appeared on the Learn Cardano YouTube Channel with Peter Bui. We talked about Streaming Merge, how we differentiate ourselves from other Cardano DEXs and the use of Plutarch. It was great fun.
If you haven’t subscribed to his channel yet, do it! He publishes regular videos all about the Cardano blockchain and the projects building on it.
End to End DEX Demo
Also yesterday, we published the second in our series of demo videos as promised in last week’s newsletter. I teased that we may hopefully get the front end and back end together for this demo and thanks to MLabs and our very own dev team working incredibly long hours, we got this done for you.
In this demo, we show how you can link your wallet (in the demo we use Nami wallet).
Now that the front and back ends are linking up…guess what…the public test net is just around the corner! Keep your eyes and ears open, we will make announcements very soon on our Discord and social channels!
