Good Morning Friends,
Audit done, bugs fixed, tokens ready to swap, AMA planned.
Want more details?
Oh, ok then!
Cardax News.
With the closing of last week, we have entered a new phase of development where we are tying up loose ends and polishing things up rather than being in the middle of development.
Let’s dive in.
Audit Update
So, as of the 28th of May, Tweag’s external audit is complete and today (Monday 30th May) we get the final report.
We are not expecting any surprises though as we have been given updates regularly and have fixed bugs and issues throughout the audit process.
This week we will be addressing any minor issues that we find in the final audit.
Regarding our separate, internal on-chain audit that Well-typed has been doing, this will be continuing but is not something that will hold up our development. It is an ongoing process that we are keen to continue to ensure the smooth running of the CardaxDEX.
Development Update
We now have all smart contracts running smoothly on the testnet and all bugs fixed and we are doing final stress tests to ensure smooth running when we launch the public testnet.
Again, we are not going to give a date but I’m not going to say “don’t hold your breath”! That said, we will still find little bugs that need to be sorted (these are not bugs in our code but rather involved in the integration with on-chain dependencies.
MLabs have reserved exclusive resources to aid us in any bugs we find in the Cardano Transaction Library and Plutip.
This week our teams will be working on any bugs we run into and the final integration of our upgraded user interface. Then it will be go-time!

CDX Token Swap
We are almost ready to launch our token swap (from our original CDX token to the new version with the updated metadata). The back end and the UI are ready and the team from Well-typed are checking it over and testing it for us.
This should be launched imminently. The tokens will be swapped on a 1:1 basis.
Cardax Twitter AMA
Following the huge response from our community, we will be hosting a live AMA with our team that I will be hosting. It will be in the form of a Twitter space and scheduled for 15:00 CET on Tuesday 31st May.
You can join on the web version if you’d just like to hear what’s going on but if you’d like to comment in the chat and ask a question, you’ll have to use the mobile app.
You can find our Twitter space here, click it now and set a reminder!
We are looking forward to answering your questions in the AMA.
I hope you all have a fantastic week.
Speak soon,
Paul and the Cardax Team
